Ingredients
2-3 people, with rice
- 300g minced pork (about half a standard pack)
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp corn starch mixed with 1 tsp water (optional, for a bouncier texture)
Method
- Mix the minced pork with the oyster sauce and salt in one direction until slightly sticky.
- Mix in the corn starch water if using.
- Spread the pork on a heatproof plate about 2 cm thick.
- Steam on high heat for 12-15 minutes.
- Check that the patty is firm with no pink inside and the juices run clear.
- Rest 2 minutes, pour off excess liquid if you like, and serve with rice.
Tips
Half a pack of minced pork is about 300g. Keep the patty about 2 cm thick so it steams evenly.
